Study programmes

Teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts is organized according to the 4 + 1 Bologna study programme: the first cycle – four-year (eight semesters) undergraduate studies, and the second cycle – one-year (two semesters) master programme, as budget-financed and self-financed studies. The first cycle – undergraduate studies, is organized at all the six departments. The minimum number of ECTS points that are required for a successful completion of the first cycle – undergraduate studies is 240. The interdisciplinary studies of conservation and restoration are structured according to the 3 + 2 Bologna principle: the first cycle – undergraduate studies, which lasts for three years (six semesters) and the second cycle – master studies, which lasts for two years (four semesters), as self-financed studies.
