International cooperation (CEEPUS)

It is with pleasure that we can inform you that the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo has become a member of the CEEPUS Network (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies Network) and that, in the next academic year it will implement – in cooperation with the Network’s partners – the project A.L.I.C.E (Architecture/Landscape/Interior/Culture/Emotions).

The Network coordinating institution is the High School of Design in Ljubljana, while its partners are: the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo – Department of Product and Graphic Design (BiH), the Academy of Arts in Split – Department of Design of Visual Communications (HR), the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Forestry (HR), the High Textile Vocational School of Design, Technology and Management (SRB), the University of Natural Sciences – the Department of Furniture Design (PL), the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering – the Department of Textile, Ljubljana (SLO). Primary focus of this platform is interdisciplinary and includes different fields of art and design, such as product design, interior design, industrial design, textile design, visual communications, illustration, etc.

We are inviting all the students and the teaching staff interested in the participation in this project, pursuant to the aforementioned selection criteria, to contact prof. Srđa Hrisafović, Vice Dean for International Cooperation of the Academy of Fine Arts, UNIVERSITY OF SARAJEVO (s.hrisafovic@alu.unsa.ba).

MOBILITY OF STUDENTS

Students who apply for the CEEPUS mobility scholarship must have the student status. Selection criteria are as follows:

  • Student of the 3rd year of studies have priority;
  • Cooperation/project related to the current theme of the A.L.I.C.E. project;
  • Student’s portfolio;
  • Proficiency in English language (or the language of host institution);
  • Defined, filled-out and signet Learning Agreement;
  • In case more applications are received, the letter of recommendation is required.

Student’s average grade will not be taken into consideration.

The coordinator of mother/institution and the head of department will take all applications into consideration.

MOBILITY OF THE TEACHING STAFF

Selection criteria:

  • Cooperation within the CEEPUS A.L.I.C.E. network;
  • Mobility of relevance for current themes of the A.L.I.C.E. project;
  • Mobility aimed at lectures in the framework of summer/winter schools;
  • Proficiency in English language (or the language of host institution);
  • Invitation letter from the host institution;
  • Plan and programme of lectures approved by host institution;
  • Mobility aimed at production of joint manuals and textbooks.
