The Historical Museum of Sarajevo hosts the first edition of the experimental exhibition format „Coral Reef. Regenerative Design.“.
Conceived as an impulse exhibition, it is the kick-off for a cooperation with teachers and students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo.
Conceived as a self-learning format and thus takes up an important principle of natural systems. In the first edition, the exhibition space becomes a transitory space of experience. The immersive character is created by the homogeneous illumination with black light, which delimits the space and immerses it in a dark blue underwater scenario. Sporadically, stylized coral reefs stand on the floor, their hyperbolic surface created by a simple code. The Open Design instructions for building the corals come from the participatory project.
